Description:

This book starts with a cosmological allegory: Bahamut, the beast that supports the foundations of creation and on top of Bahamut the seven heavens, Man’s ideal and eternal aspiration. Were it up to me, I would place them in reverse order: The heavens aren’t Man’s end goal; the highest of heavenly plains is Man’s purported certainty, the single and personal truth regarding the ways of the world in all its aspects; However, the true nature of things lies not on top, but in the murky waters of chaos, where Bahamut swims.

To even get a glimpse of that monster is to dig your way through every layer of existence, questioning everything, scraping away until your hand touches the outer surface of chaos, the back, and not the belly of the beast. Some would go mad, and rightly so; yet for some others, this revelation would allow them to grasp their existence, and pursue their lives "as if they are truly their own". This book is the sum of many years of studious observations. Its purpose is to provide, if not an answer, then some meaningful insight, or at the very least, a few good ideas. It did for me; I hope it does the same for you. Alexandros Tsantilas
