Universal Values
The International Symposium on Universal Values 2004 was organized and hosted by the Academy of Athens on the occasion of the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. The symposium was attended by hundreds of scientists, university professors and eminent scholars. It was greeted by the president of the Greek parliament , the minister of education, the president of the Cultural Olympiad, the deputy director of UNESCO, the chairman of the InterAcademy Panel (IAP), the president of All European Academies (ALLEA), and representatives of various academies from Europe, America and Asia.
